What is Journey to the East?

We are diaspora (ABCs, CBCs, etc) looking to “Go Back to Asia”. Do you feel homesick for Asia despite being raised abroad? Do you feel like an outsider to the place you were raised? This the community for you!

While many of us are interested moving to Asia, resources from a diaspora perspective is lacking. We are a shared community to tackle the journey together. We also have chats to learn from experts and veterans, no holds barred.

Before, immigration was East to West. Now, the directional flow is reversing.

So Why Now?

  1. The center of gravity is shifting East. Regardless if it’s economics, culture, or technology, if you look at prosperity or quality of life - Asia is where it’s at. As many successful industry titans have pointed out: “The Future is Asian”.

  2. It’s no longer safe to be Asian in the West. With increasing geo-political tension, hate-crimes have surged and manufactured consent is on the rise as the West increasingly views Asia as competitor.

The tides are shifting. The reality our parents faced a generation ago no longer apply. It’s time to revisit the decision of immigration for ourselves.
